How to Play (2-player)
-
First player is X’s, the other is O’s.

Using the box as a pedestal, X places one card on the center of the lid.

Take turns partially overlapping or underlapping the magnetic cards (patent pending!), expanding the board with each play.

If your move knocks off any cards, you lose your turn.

Win by boxing in at least one* of your opponent’s symbols on all sides!
* Decide if you'll win by boxing in one, two, three, etc, depending on desired challenge level.
Above, X boxes in one O to win.
Above, O wins by boxing in three X's.

ADDITIONAL NOTES ON THE RULES

Choose to use the black & white side OR the color side for each game. Because the magnets are polarized, mixed color and b&w cards won't attract each other.

Each new card must expand the overall footprint of the board by at least one X or O. Full overlaps (i.e. where your card's four symbols cover four symbols that are already in play) are prohibited.

Diagonals hold no importance when you're capturing a symbol. Simply box it in on all sides, using your own symbols to orthogonally block its access to the perimeter of the board.

You may capture more than one of your opponent's symbols; the basic requirement is simply that you capture at least one. Or, per our Other Ways to Play, at least two or three.
